1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the BackendCloud website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
BackendCloud provides online and in-person educational services focused on backend development, cloud architecture, and related technology skills. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Online courses and tutorials
- Live instruction and mentorship
- Career placement assistance
- Educational materials and resources
- Community access and networking opportunities
3. Enrollment and Payment Terms
3.1 Enrollment Process
Enrollment in BackendCloud programs requires completion of an application process and payment of applicable fees. Acceptance into programs is at BackendCloud's sole discretion.
3.2 Payment
Payment is due according to the payment schedule agreed upon during enrollment. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, bank transfers, and approved financing options.
3.3 Refund Policy
Full refunds are available within 14 days of program start for any reason. After 14 days, refunds are prorated based on completed coursework and are subject to a 15% administrative fee.
4. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- Attend scheduled classes and complete assignments on time
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions
- Respect intellectual property rights of course materials
- Provide accurate information during enrollment
- Notify BackendCloud of any changes to contact information
5. Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to videos, text, code examples, and assignments, are the intellectual property of BackendCloud. Students may use these materials for personal learning but may not redistribute, sell, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.
6. Code of Conduct
BackendCloud maintains a respectful learning environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from programs without refund.
7. Job Placement Services
While BackendCloud provides career support and maintains relationships with hiring partners, we cannot guarantee job placement. Our 98% placement rate is based on historical data and individual results may vary based on effort, skill development, and market conditions.
8. Technology Requirements
Students are responsible for having access to a computer and reliable internet connection. Specific software requirements will be communicated during enrollment.
9. Limitation of Liability
BackendCloud's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
BackendCloud is committed to protecting student privacy. Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these terms.
11. Modification of Terms
BackendCloud reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes via email and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.

14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between students and BackendCloud regarding our services.
